Elizabeth Longo is a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in general, cosmetic, and aesthetics dermatology for over 17 years. She received her Physician Assistant degree and graduated with honors from the Charles Drew University of Medicine & Science UCLA program.

Elizabeth is an active member of Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant (SDPA), California Academy of Physician’s Assistant (CAPA) and a keynote speaker for the California Society Dermatology Physician Assistant Society (CDPAS). Elizabeth performs comprehensive medical dermatology and specializes in cosmetic and aesthetics work.

BOTOX & FILLERS

There are many options. Botox, Restylane Fillers, Juvederm Fillers, Radiesse Fillers, Volume, and Perlane. No two people are alike and not all fillers are created equal. Every individual needs a customized plan depending upon what their individuals goals and concerns.

BOTOX

Botox is a cosmetic medicine that is prescribed and injected. Doctors have been using Botox for many years to treat facial creases and wrinkles successfully. Botox is generally used to treat frown line between the eyebrows, forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet around the eyes, bunny lines on the nose, smokers wrinkles around the mouth and dents in the chin. Botox can be injected on the lateral side of eyebrows, giving the eyebrow a lift at the lateral corner. Similarly, Botox can also be used to raise the corners of the mouth. Botox is a brand name but there are also other brand names such as Xeomin and Dysport.

RESTYLANE

Restylane is a type of stabilized hyaluronic acid filler used for soft tissue augmentation and smoothing out wrinkles and folds in the smile lines around the mouth, depressions at the angles of mouth, marionette lines, frown lines and depressed scars. Restylane fillers can also be used to contour the lateral tail of the brows and plump lips. Restylane fillers are ideal for tear trough areas to eliminate the appearance of dark circles under the eye. Fillers treatments typically last between 6 to 12 months. Restylane is an FDA approved filer that can also be used to treat you face and your hands as well. The Restylane filler line of products is formulated to act like your body's own naturally occurring hyaluronic acid.

JUVEDERM

Juvederm Ultra fillers and Juvederm Ultra Plus fillers are stabilized Hyaluronic acids used for soft tissue augmentation and smoothing out wrinkles and folds. They are FDA approved fillers for improving the smile lines, also known as parenthesis lines or nasolabial folds. The smile lines are the most noticeable signs of aging and Juvederm Ultra has been used for many years successfully in treating this area. The filler treatment takes a few minutes and the results are immediate.

CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peels are used for acne, acne scarring, pigmentary disorders, sun damage, photo aging, fine line and wrinkles.
